Keeping you in the picture
15 December 2010

This e-zine is part of a drive on our part to improve the way we communicate with you.
As well as this newsletter, we’re currently upgrading and enhancing our website. We’re also bringing you a constant flow of blogs and news items. And you’ll notice further improvements and initiatives throughout 2011.
You may well feel that financial services companies are not great at communicating. Too much of what they produce is plodding, pedestrian and just plain dull. It has a tendency to make people’s eyes glaze over. It might be interesting to the people who write it – but not to those who receive it.
If you feel that way, we agree entirely. But it doesn’t have to be like that. At Welbeck, our aim has always been to talk straightforwardly to all our clients: to cut through the financial jargon and terminology, and express ourselves clearly, understandably and (dare we say it) interestingly.
After all, financial planning is a critical subject. It can help you in key areas of your life: protecting your loved ones, growing your wealth, helping you enjoy a better standard of living in your retirement, saving up for the things that you really want, cutting your tax bill...there’s nothing boring about any of that. And we don’t believe that we should talk about such vital matters in a boring way.
Our aim, on our website, our blogs, our e-zine, our news items and in all our literature, is to keep you informed about important aspects of financial planning: but to do so in a way that’s thought-provoking, challenging, engaging, intriguing and occasionally even fun.
Because that’s the way we like to be talked to; and we think it’s what you want as well.
