The Welbeck Group has always had a close affinity with sport and a number of the company’s current advisors compete in sports such as rugby, cricket, hockey and football at a high level. Competitiveness, performance and good sportsmanship are ingrained in the company’s modus operandi and provide it with a dynamic edge.

For the past five years Welbeck Group has sponsored Richmond-based National League rugby team, London Scottish. The sponsorship provides The Welbeck Group with visibility and brand awareness at the ground on match days, and a great social environment in which to entertain clients. It also provides the club with funds to provide kit, equipment and coaching for juniors and community based rugby activities.

The Welbeck Group supports individuals, many whom are employees, who fundraise through their own initiative. Fundraising is an established and important element of the company ethos and helps underpin its values. To date, Welbeck Group has supported a wide variety of projects including The London Youth Games, Limbpower and Help for Heroes. Typical fundraising events include Dragon Boat Racing, charity cricket matches,tandem skydiving, climbing Kilimanjaro, triathlons and Ironman challenges amongst many others.
